One hour remedial massages at Universal Chiropractic
Hi everyone. My name is Jason, I’m a Remedial Massage Therapist and I’m really excited to be joining the team at Universal Chiropractic.
So let me tell you a little about myself. My background is teaching with 20 years as a high school teacher and deputy head. But I have also had a lifelong interest in health, fitness and nutrition. Towards the end of my teaching career, I bought a health club, qualified as a personal trainer and massage therapist and began practicing in the UK. With clientele from my gym, I became familiar with many of the issues and injuries associated with training and exercise. Since moving to Australia 2 years ago and gaining a remedial massage qualification here, I am also equally keen to help people gain relief from the many problems that everyday life throws at us. These range from lower back, shoulder and neck pain often due to poor posture, sedentary working conditions or simply stress; tight hamstrings, glutes and hip pain perhaps from sitting or insufficient stretching after exercise; wrist, forearm and elbow pain perhaps from repetitive strain and so on.
Massage is about releasing stress and tension from soft tissues (muscles). As such, it complements Chiropractic care. I welcome the opportunity to talk to you and explore how I might be able to support your health and overall wellbeing.
